Terms of Use and Sale

These terms cover the game, your account, and, if you choose it, the purchase of Tide Plus. The essentials are simple: every game mode is free; Tide Plus adds cosmetics and supports the game.

The service and its publisher

Mahjong Tide is a mahjong solitaire game published by Sylvain GRAVEJAT EI, a French sole trader operating under the trading name Mahjong Tide. You can play without an account. An optional account lets you synchronize progress across devices and use a Tide Plus purchase on each signed-in device.

Your account

• You are responsible for access to your email address and the sign-in methods connected to your account.
• Your player name identifies your profile inside the game. Choose one that does not impersonate someone else and is not abusive, hateful, or unlawful.
• You can change your information, download your data, and delete your account from Account.
• Do not sell or transfer your account. A Tide Plus purchase is personal and remains attached to the account that bought it.

Fair play and acceptable use

You may play, experiment, and share your results. You must not falsify a shared result, use automation to overload the service, attempt to access another person’s account or data, or interfere with Mahjong Tide’s security or operation.

We may remove a clearly invalid result or suspend account access in response to serious abuse. Where the circumstances allow, we aim to use a proportionate response first.

Content and intellectual property

The Mahjong Tide name, interface, writing, software, sounds, layouts, and presentation are protected under applicable law. Many artworks shown in the game are in the public domain; their inclusion in Mahjong Tide does not create a new right over the original artwork.

You may share result images and other material that the game expressly creates for personal sharing. These terms do not permit you to republish the game, sell its components, or present the Mahjong Tide brand as your own.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Mahjong Tide available, compatible, and reliable, but an online service can experience interruptions, errors, and maintenance. The game may evolve: features, content, technical rules, and compatibility may be added, changed, or removed.

Material updates that significantly reduce your rights or change how your account is used will be presented clearly. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that the law does not allow us to limit.

What Tide Plus includes

Tide Plus is Mahjong Tide’s optional paid offer. It gives access to missed Daily artworks when they join its archive after 30 days, the Supporter badge, and an ad-free experience if advertising is enabled. Every tile set and tile back is free. It gives no gameplay advantage: game modes, layouts, hints, undo, and gameplay tools remain free.

Access is activated on the Mahjong Tide account used at Checkout. It becomes available on signed-in devices after payment is confirmed. A recovery code is recommended but is not required to buy.

Plans and prices

• Monthly: €2.99 or US$2.99 per month, renewing monthly until cancelled;
• Annual: €14.99 or US$14.99 per year, renewing annually until cancelled;
• Lifetime: €24.99 or US$24.99 as a one-time payment, with no subscription.

Euro prices include applicable VAT. Tax may be added to US-dollar prices. Depending on your location, Stripe may present another currency. In every case, Checkout shows the final total, currency, applicable tax, and billing interval before you order; that display controls over the reference prices above. There is no free trial and no minimum term beyond a period already paid for.

Order and payment

Sylvain GRAVEJAT EI is the seller and supplies Tide Plus. Web payments use Stripe Managed Payments: Link acts as merchant of record for the transaction, collects payment, calculates and remits applicable indirect tax, sends receipts, and provides transaction support. Checkout also displays Link’s payment terms.

Your order is complete when payment is confirmed. Access is normally activated immediately after confirmation; a short reconciliation delay can occasionally occur. If access does not arrive, email contact@mahjongtide.com.

Renewal and cancellation

Monthly and Annual renew automatically for another period of the same length. Account shows the next renewal date. Stripe or Link sends required payment and renewal notices.

You can stop renewal at any time, free of charge, in Mahjong Tide’s Account screen or through Link. A confirmation is shown, Tide Plus remains active through the paid period, and no further charge is made after it. You may resume renewal before that date. Cancellation alone does not refund the current period; this does not affect withdrawal rights or any other mandatory rights you have.

An active subscription may be replaced with Lifetime. Earlier subscription payments are not credited or refunded. After the Lifetime payment is confirmed, the existing subscription is made non-renewing.

“Lifetime” access

“Lifetime” means the account receives Tide Plus without another payment deadline for as long as Mahjong Tide and Tide Plus continue to operate. It is not a promise that the online service will exist forever. Access is personal, non-transferable, and tied to the purchasing account. This explanation does not reduce any mandatory consumer guarantee or remedy.

Withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer and applicable law provides a withdrawal right, you have fourteen days from the initial order to withdraw without giving a reason. Mahjong Tide applies this period to all three plans. During that period, use “Exercise my withdrawal right” in Account: the request is timestamped immediately and an acknowledgement is emailed to you. You may instead send a clear statement before the deadline to contact@mahjongtide.com. The payment will be refunded without a fee, through the original payment method, within the legal deadline. The corresponding access is then removed.

You may use this model, but do not have to: “I give notice that I withdraw from the Tide Plus purchase ordered on [date] for account [email]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].” Send it to Sylvain GRAVEJAT EI, 60 rue François 1er, 75008 Paris, France - contact@mahjongtide.com.

You can also contact Link support from your receipt about a transaction refund. Link may handle some requests under its own policy in addition to rights required by law. A full refund removes the corresponding access. It does not automatically restart an earlier subscription.

Legal conformity guarantee

Deleting an account

A renewing subscription must first be made non-renewing in Account. Deleting an account immediately ends its Tide Plus access, including Lifetime, without an automatic transfer or refund. The confirmation screen states this consequence. Game data is deleted as described in the privacy policy, while commercial records that law requires are retained separately for their mandatory period.

Liability

Mahjong Tide is provided for entertainment. To the extent allowed by law, the publisher is not responsible for indirect loss caused by interruption, incompatibility, or loss of locally stored data. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Applicable law and complaints

These terms are governed by French law without taking away mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence. If a problem arises with the game or Tide Plus, email contact@mahjongtide.com first so we can try to resolve it simply.
